"MY HOMETOWN"

My hometown is S/C de La Palma, the capital of La Palma. La Palma is a Canary island; it is called "The green island". S/C situated on the east coast of the island. It has a population of 12.000 people bot when the ships whit tourist come here the population rices about 1.000 people.

S/C de La Palma is famous for its wooden ship called "El barco de la virgen" and for its houses in the Avenue called "Las casas delos balcones".

The advantages of living in S/C are: You know everybody, you don't have problems with traffic and you can walk to many places... but the only disavantage is there aren't any shopping centres... I think that S/C is a very good place to live in because it's quiet and calm and you can live without problems

"MY SCHOOL"

My school is Alonso Perez Díaz and it's near my house. The school is very beautiful and it's an old monument of the capital because many years ago this school was a convent where the people hid of the pirates. It has some labs like the Physics lab and the Biology lab, some computer rooms, one for Englihs and one for Tecnology. On the third floor is the canteen where people buy foood to eat at breaktime. Classes at school start at 8 and finish at 2 and the lessons last 55 minutes. After classes there aretwo breaks of 10 and 20 minutes. There are a lot of subjects but the most important are: Maths, Biology, Physics, Englihs, Chemistry and Geografy. My favorite subject is Chemistry because it's very easy and because I like it.
I like this school because it's very big and the teachers are very funny.

"DESCRIPTION OF MYSELF"

My name is Jorge and I'm 14 years old. Ilive in S/C de La Palma with my parents. I study in Alonso Perez Diaz school. It is my third year at school.I'm tall, thin and I have brown eyes and brown hair.I think I'm a bit nervous, very hard-working (in class), sociable, quite talkative and sometimes a bit crazy.My hobbies are playing all sports, playing computer and the playstation , reading books , surfing the Internet... I hate going shopping.I like going out with my friends every weekend. Sometimes we go to the cinema or to the beach (In summer) but always go to "El Cesped" to meet some friends.I think I'm a good friend¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
